Hoi mitenand! My name's Lewis Dale and I started writing the weekly My Swiss Blog in September 2011, after upping sticks to move to Zürich for an exchange year, in order to share my experiences with friends and family back at home in the UK. Of course, I'd be more than happy to be able to also share this blog with other exchange students, expats or simply people who enjoy travelling.
I'm a student (of German and economics) and I also carry out freelance translation work. I'm particularly interested in Swiss German and I'm hoping that my time in Switzerland will allow me to get a decent grasp of the local language. If it all goes well here, maybe a year could become a little more...
